About The Jackals

The New Jersey Jackals is a professional baseball team. The Jackals are a member of the East Division of the Frontier League, an independent baseball league that is a Partner League of Major League Baseball. The team was founded in 1998 by Floyd Hall. In 2022, the Jackals played their 25th consecutive season. On September 14, 2022, the team announced that they would be moving to the newly renovated ballpark, Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson. In their short, twenty-five year team history, the Jackals have won six League Championships (2020, 2019, 2004, 2002, 2001,1998), and four Division Championships (2004, 2003, 2002, 1999).

Jack the Jackal

For some, there is no better reason to come to a game than to see Jack the Jackal get tackled. You can catch a t-shirt, get a Jack the Jackal autograph and dance along to the Cha Cha Slide. On the team, Jack the Jackal has the biggest nose, the biggest ears and he creates the biggest smiles. Jack explores the stadium, sporting his red and black team colors, to the delight of roaring spectators of all ages.
