Hinchliffe Stadium Grand Opening

Hinchliffe Stadium reopened in Paterson, NJ on Friday May 19 after a $100 million renovation. The rededication of Hinchliffe Stadium was a momentous occasion filled with nostalgia and reverence. The renovated stadium, once home to legendary Negro League teams such as the New York Black Yankees, New York Cubans, and Newark Eagles, was celebrated by city officials and fans alike. People like, Whoopi Goldberg, Senator Cory Booker, Congressman bill Pascrell, and many more, came to help ring in the celebration.
